Quotes From Notes

"Here we are in the 21st Century, surrounded by more cheap and plentiful food than has been available since the Garden of Eden, and Americans are still struggling to learn how to eat.

Your Enemies are closer...

Is Ronald McDonald Really your Friend?

Ronald McDonald is the second most recognized person in the world, trumped only by Santa Claus. He is a marketing ploy that associates happiness with eating. Unhealthy eating. Like I said this is really nasty. Maybe Ronald should look like this.

Expectation of a Revelation

One word: Invigoration

Reading Food Fight is like a jump start to my grad project. Its like I remember why I wanted to do this graduation project. soda companies have marketed baby bottles to children. the way these corporations market their products is disgusting. 25% of all the vegetables we eat in the US are French fries.

Retrospect: Like a Woman Scorn

The three annotations I did last week don't really look that good and I have to almost completley revamp them. I'm glad That I didn't have five or six already done that redone. I'm looking into more reports on Fastfood and health, which shouldn't be too hard. anyways its going good.

Salutation Citations!

Here is a little I accomplished today along with my poster, (that I'll post later on photobucket or something.)

Works Cited
Aoki, Rocky H. "Benihana History." The Benihana Restaurant. 2007. 10 May 2007 . The Benihana is the first restaurant to promote cooking in front of its guests. It started the idea of all newer restaurants having open kitchens, bringing the excitement of cooking to everyone.
Dewy, Kevin. "Fundraising Cookbooks." Cookbook Publishers, Inc. 10 May 2007 . This service gives temnplates and other tools that will assist me in creating a cookbook along with the rest of my graduation porject.
Swanson, Heidi. "Recipe Ideas." 101 Cookbooks. 10 May 2007. 10 May 2007 . This website is great. Not only does it give cookbook theme ideas, but also some recipes to try.

Today's Reflection and Some More Ideas

Today, some seniors came in and told our class about graduation project. It Definitley helped me. Now, I understand what your supposed to do as far as an ending result. I knew I wanted to do something food related, but now I'm think some type of simulation, like a Benihana sort of thing. I still haven't finished my interest inventories, but I hate interest inventories. I still didn't finish my intrerest inventory for the ACT application. I'll be done today though

First Post

I really Don't know what I'm doing. I know we're making a graduation project, but I've never seen One before. I'm guessing its like a gigantic PowerPoint presentation. As far as topics, I'm thinking something food related like a cookbook or a cooking exhibition. I've heard people doing school related, so I thought I could do something with the yearbook. Anyways, I'll probaly figure something out soon.
